Vantaggi
Employees of integrity who care about the mission.
Svantaggi
At Catalyst, I've encountered a culture that starkly contradicts the values the organization professes. This stark contrast left me feeling disillusioned about the company's integrity, and I feel compelled to share my experiences. The executive team's focus on personal gain has led to not one but two rounds of layoffs, with the most recent disproportionately affecting people of color. This pattern raises serious concerns about equity and fairness within the organization, and it's a cause for deep concern. From my perspective, there's an atmosphere of intimidation; those who dare to voice their concerns fear retaliation. Under the CEO's leadership, the executive team seems more committed to maintaining a delusion about the company's health than addressing real issues. Instead of empowering their hardworking employees, they hire consultants and engage in sneaky conversations that foster paranoia and anxiety. Seeing genuine care for the mission overshadowed by these tactics is disheartening. Rather than creating pathways for upskilling, growth, and mentorship, management tends to blame employees at all levels for declining revenue and strategic missteps. Their empathy is a mere facade, masking a cruel reality for those genuinely caring about the work and the organization's mission. The disregard for employees's time, energy, and dedication is alarming. Those who thrive often speak ill of others, undermining the organization's integrity. As for the remaining employees, it takes significant effort to feel safe or valued in such an environment. I urge potential candidates to think carefully before considering joining Catalyst. Seek out opportunities with leadership that prioritizes empathy alongside business outcomes. You deserve a workplace that values your humanity as much as your productivity. Strive for an organization that truly supports and values its employees.
