Most of the management don’t trust their teams, micromanage/require check-ins from experienced staff, and tend to blame failures on people/commissioners who aren’t present and can’t defend themselves. Many have been promoted due to loyalty rather than ability- they typify the trope of having to explain to your manager how to convert a Word doc. to PDF. Only staying until I find a good external role, then I’ll hand my notice in immediately. (If you work under KO, you poor thing)
