Remember that movie you watched and afterwards you said to yourself "I'll never get those 2 hours back"? CEO and CPO don't believe or back the sales process, your typical engineers who hate sales folk. Zero marketing for inbound lead generation. Sales is 100% outbound with unattainable quotas and unrealistic goals.

I had a really disappointing 11 months at Catchpoint. I had 3 offers and took Catchpoint because I was reporting into someone I wanted to report into. It was listed on my offer letter. The Friday before I started they called me at 515pm to tell me they laid him off. Had I known this, I would have taken the other offers. This means they either weren’t transparent during the interview process or made a spur of the moment decision. I tried to make the best of it but a few weeks in, I was told how much turnover this department had seen but was reassured not to worry about it. The company was doing very well and on a great trajectory. I was getting increasingly positive feedback from my stakeholders in Leadership. I got a call that I was being laid off because they wanted my role to be more financial, which was not my job description. I was told there was nothing I could have done differently.
