The saying that "the grass is always greener," in my experience doesn't apply to health systems in Buffalo. At CHS, we have transport, EKG and phlebotomy. I've worked for 3 of the 4 systems in WNY and CHS is by far the best. Other systems, the staffing ratios alone place patients at risk. Not to mention doing all of your own transport. Nothing like leaning over to a coworker and saying, "hey can you watch my 7 varying acuity patients while I run up to the 11 floor. I'll see you in 20 mins." Now that RN has 15 pts. Not safe. CHS also has an EXCELLENT clinical education team.

I really wish there was better security, we are not supported well and BPS doesn't show up for hours. That really needs to change.
