People in tech are some of the nicest people I've had the pleasure to work with, and is probably one of the few reasons I put up with being there.

- Senior management do not value tech at all, we are a cost rather than adding value. - Compensation for juniors are far below industry average. - Culture of fear, feel like you're constantly being watched by management. - People get laid off from one day to the next without warning. - Moving across teams is difficult and involves a lot of politics. - Lack of career development, outdated tech. - Higher staff turn over in non investment teams than McDonald's. - Majority of the fund is controlled by the CEO and COO so if they say jump you say how high.
