Used to be a good place to work. Never cutting edge in terms of technology, never high salary, but mostly decent people and an interesting market. For a while a genuinely leading product (but not any more).

Product development is slow and mostly devoid of innovation that has value to customers. Quality is low and falling. Now overtaken by competitors and unlikely to recover. Acquired by Private Equity who installed their own senior management, who appear to be utterly clueless. On our 5th CEO in 2 years, if my math is correct. They seem to be on a mission to get rid of everyone who knows anything about the product and can help customers. Significant redundancies during 2024. Nasty secretive culture these days. CEO who made 20%+ of development staff redundant didn't bother to turn up to the company town hall meeting to answer questions. Original management are either complicit (sold out) or too weak to do anything. Avoid.
