Vantaggi

Svantaggi
My experience at Chemonics was marked by what felt like a deeply unhealthy internal culture and a surprising lack of basic systems and structure. The culture felt reactive, political, and at times openly toxic. Blame travelled downwards quickly, while accountability upwards was harder to find. Favouritism and informal power networks seemed to matter more than transparent processes or merit. What stood out most was how underdeveloped internal systems and workflows were. Core processes were inconsistent or undocumented. For a company operating at global scale, the operational backbone felt improvised rather than professionalised. The result was unnecessary chaos, duplicated effort, and staff burnout. There are capable and committed individuals working there, but they are operating despite the environment, not because of it. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a well-run, supportive, or mature organisation.
