Vantaggi
* Autonomy (sometimes not a benefit). * Freshness. Things changed sometimes daily, which means you are never bored or without something to do. * Room to learn new skills (often because you had to in order to make up for bandwidth issues). * When it's fun, it's REALLY fun. * Tons of unique experiences.
Svantaggi
* They lack any and all semblances of a process or plan, with direction changing on a whim depending on what mood the boss woke up in that day. And if it doesn't go well, the blame is on the team, not the person who derailed it. * Zero accountability. You can do no wrong if you're the teacher's pet or current gf, but you can do nothing right if they just don't like you. * Uncover misogyny is there. If you're one of the boss's friends, you can do or say whatever you like to whomever you like. The more famous you are, the more leeway you get. * They shy away from being part of their community when they think it doesn't benefit them, but run back and make empty promises when the effects of that distance are felt - ie profit loss. * The CEO & President are more concerned with lining their investors' pockets & positive media attention than upholding any threads of morality.
