There are some great people here who can be great mentors for someone building their career.

Upper management is very poor especially when it comes to communication throughout the company. There is also a very toxic work culture present that is based around gatekeeping information between groups within the lab. It can be difficult to navigate and can create obstacles for performing your job. This is very much a work environment that does not welcome change and operates with poor communication throughout the organization.
