Vantaggi
Good products. Good commission structure. Theoretically adequate training. When all the parts get it right, there is no better first aid and safety company.
Svantaggi
...the problem is, they almost never get it right. I was thrown onto a route with 0 product training, no introduction to thier sales process and no info on current customers. I spent the first few months convincing angry customers not to quit. I was there a year and a half before I was able to go to thier week-long new service rep training, so much of I already knew. As mentioned by others, I was constantly hamstrung by lack of product or slow delivery. I understand the need for corporate uniformity, but the constant, required meetings and busy work felt monotonous and pointless. Also as mentioned often, there is no work-life balance. It is expected that work comes first, last and always. I worked 12 hour days, often putting in time on the weekends trying to catch up. This emphasis seemed to come straight from the top.
