Great internal mobility (both global and countrywide) to advance your career and opportunity to try out different areas/groups without having to switch firms. Relatively a much better work life balance compared to other financial firms. Good people, encouragement to volunteer, diversity etc. Benefits especially healthcare may not be as good as the jersey pharma firms but they are comparable to financial firms in the NY metro area.

Due to the diversified portfolio of business you don't get the upside in a bull market as you would working for a pure IB. At the same time it is better to be diversified in the current environment.
