There are also pportunities to move across business lines and build a career in whatever manner of one's choosing. Bright people really strive to make the best of their work, and one is surrounded by earnest, smart thinking.

      Citi is heavily matrixed which requires too many stakeholders. The company stll hasn't effectively capitalized on synergies across product lines to benefit our customers - and it make take years to really accomplish that. There are not enough O&T resources to get any projects done.

      Lack of job security for several years culminating in a layoff after nearly 3 decades with the firm. Like many places, benefits, raises, and advancement opportunities diminished over time as the firm decided to offshore roles.
