Significant numbers have been 'let go' in "efficiency drives", many with core knowledge of software and infrastructure. The remaining people then find their workload doubling! The only new people tend to be in management or senior management roles (I've lost count of how many times I've heard a manager say "I've been here a couple of months and still getting my feet under the table..."). Many of these new people have lasted less than 8 months. There appears to be an email from the CEO every week advising on yet another change at the top !
It also appears that every department, other than Sales, had been through these 'reviews'. So it's only a matter of time until the existing Sales teams are also reviewed...
