Despite consistent growth in recent years, the business has managed to retain a down-to-earth, family feel that makes it an enjoyable place to work. There’s a genuine sense that people’s contributions are recognised, which isn’t something I’ve experienced everywhere. In previous companies, it’s easy to feel like you’re just keeping things ticking over, but here your input feels worthwhile and appreciated. The senior team are approachable and sets a supportive tone, and there are good opportunities for training and development if you’re keen to progress. If you’re willing to get stuck in and work hard, you’ll find plenty of support behind you.

The role can become particularly fast-paced during the spring and summer months, reflecting the seasonal nature of our industry. Although this creates a dynamic and engaging environment for those who enjoy variety and working collaboratively (like me), it may be less suited to someone seeking a slower, more predictable pace.
