- The work you do is meaningful. - Given the team size, your individual efforts drive a tangible difference in the company. - Working in such an old-fashioned industry, it's exciting to build new solutions that can be transformative to how users accomplish things. - Coworkers are all incredibly smart and talented. - Lots of freedom in how you approach your work. Focus on solving important problems rather than performing tasks/following specific processes (could be a con for some). - Nice benefits (free lunch every day, health + dental + vision)

- Very dynamic work environment. Initiatives change as the company makes adjustments. I find it exciting, but if you like a consistent work routine and a perfect understanding of what you'll be working on in 6 months, it may not be a good fit. - Not much structure to your work. You're handed problems to create solutions for more often than you're handed a well-structured task to perform. - High stakes. Working with patients as users means that you can't always move fast and break things like Facebook's early days. The team moves fast, but sometimes new initiatives take longer than they would at a less data-sensitive B2C startup.
