Vantaggi
Excellent support and training, decent benefits, decent PTO, nice building to work in, decent pay (average is anywhere from $14 - $17 before getting into upper management and supervisor salaries).
Svantaggi
Lack of communication with upper management causes disgruntlement among employees. The company is rapidly expanding by acquiring other PPO networks. As such, many new rules and scripted phone conversations are being written to let customers and clients know about what is going on. Many times you will encounter situations where upper management has no immediate answer to a problem and they expect you to deal with it. If you screw up, they let you know you screwed up and will not take any fault for what happened. A team is only as good as its leader and upper management does not follow that saying. I recently went through a mass downsizing and saw them let go an employee of 15 years which destroyed my desire to work for them. There is not a feeling of being able to speak your mind to upper management. I tried once and was met with passive enmity and demands that I needed to improve. The company used to be great to work for when it was smaller. However, after the rapid expansion of their company, they tried to get their employees to handle as much as possible rather than hire new people. The huge work load caused a lot of people to get upset. Upper management only gave its employees the "deal with it" reply so many started to leave or perform poorly and were let go. I would not recommend working here unless you want to spend a few years gaining customer service/clerical office experience to use on a resume for a later job. You also might want to work here if you are already at the level of upper management (supervisor, HR department, vice-president, etc.) They treat them very well.
