Vantaggi
Decent hourly pay, but nothing else
Svantaggi
- Hourly salary is good, £9 an hour, but you only get paid for the 2 hours that you work in a day, if you do overtime you'll be working for free. Supervisors won't tell you anything in the first month making you think you'll get paid for the overtime, until you get your first payslip and see you didn't get a single penny from those half an hour or 45 min overtime you've done every shift. - Sometimes you need to clean excrements, but what was worse is that they made me do it with ripped gloves. I insisted for new ones for a whole week but they never replaced them, they took advantage that I was new to the country and that I didn't know that I can refuse to clean without basic cleaning protection. - The management is ridiculous. They will say you'll get paid every 2 weeks: I had to wait 1 month and a half to get my money after thousands of messages and calls chasing my manager day after day to sort out my bank details. As he ignored me a lot, I had to go to the Head Office, after telling them my situation one of the head managers called that manager that was in charge of my workplace and, surprise, he picked up at the second ring, and cited me for an appointment for the next day. - No point of calling their Human Resources team, any problem you have no matter how important it is for you, they'll just say 'Okey, We will pass this information to one of our team members and they'll contact you shortly'. THEY WILL NEVER CALL YOU BACK, and I called them 3 times. 3 times ignored. - Oh I forgot to mention, I returned my uniform (for which they took £25 from my salary for a uniform that was worth maybe £5) and I never got that money back, uniform was in perfect conditions. By the way, they'll charge £60 from your salary for a training/induction video, you can't work without watching this. - When you leave the company, they get so upset that they will make sure you don't get your last salary. I left and didn't get my last salary but I'm really happy that I'm out of that place. - When I told my manager that I have to leave the job he said (sit down and read carefully): YOU NEED TO WORK AS IT'S BANK HOLIDAY. So yeah, don't ever work for them if you want to keep your dignity :)
