Vantaggi
2 glorious days of the week we get a break from suffering the office when we get 'rewarded' with the possibility of working from home.
Svantaggi
Where do I begin? Despite the company boasting (literally emailed staff to inform of this) how targets for profit in 2020 were far above expectations while the majority of staff were working from home, staff are only being permitted to wfh twice a week as the company claim 'while the work is being done, productivity is down when staff aren't onsite'. Furthermore, after the hugely successful 2020, staff were given one of the worst pay increases/bonus in recent years (not that they are ever great) as it was claimed that the success wasn't seen in certain functions in Germany. In recent weeks staff have been plamaused with talks that our concerns have finally been heard (in other words they didn't like the bad press on Glassdoor) and that the managing director was working on increased salary for staff. This slightly improved moral for a day or two before the proverbial carrot rotted and it has been revealed that the increase will only be applied to new starters. As a result, anybody who is in the company for less than 5/6 years will be on equal or less pay than somebody with no experience. Yet management wonder why staff would ever leave the magical land of milk and honey. Then once a person even hints at being unhappy working there they are essentially shunned. Staff moral is on the floor, but they are so happy with the revolving door policy that they even installed two of them at the front of the building! Time to update the CV.
