Working as a freelancer with CloudDevs. I did my job as we combined, but they didn't paid me the total amount. We combined USD 40/hour, I worked for over 100 hours, which means they needed to pay me more than USD 4,000, but they paid less than USD 2,000. They had an issue with the final client and me as the contracted professional, wasn't paid for my work. Their payment process is very hard to understand, and they didn't explain me why I'm only receive this value, didn't giving me any transparency of when I will receive the rest. There are 3 months I'm waiting for it, but when they answer me, they still giving me default answers like "We are doing our best to solve your situation", "We are trying to charge the client with a Debt Collector to pay you after", but it still without any preview of when I'll receive the payment. All my work was tracked by a tool called Screen.io, which track everything that you do, every URL you access including seasonal screenshots in each four, five, ten minutes, without a specific recurrence. This tool gives me the false impressive that they are a extremely professional company. But they don't. The people maybe are trying to be, but the company turned into a messy. They aren't answering my emails and my slack messages. All the people involved aren't answering me anymore, and here and there, when they answer after couple days, just give me default answer and they doesn't have any atitude to solve my situation. And how I'm in another country in Latin America and not in U.S., and the legal process to solve this is expensive and maybe doesn't worth it, I fell myself if tied hands. I've heard they used to be very professionals, paying on time, working respecting their hired people. But now they are deep in a messy environment. So, if I can suggest something for, is to run off of this company. There are a lot of companies interested in your work that can treat you as a professional that you deserve.
