Pay is fairly reasonable and hours aren't horrendous. Provides good retail experience.

Stores are incredibly understaffed and far too much is asked of CTM's between packing online orders, serving customers, stocking shelves and watching out for shoplifters. The response to the cyber attack has been woeful. Stores have been given far more stock than they can handle whilst hours keep being taken away. What I find particularly horrendous though is the horrendous culture in the job. Some managers spend entire shifts talking about the co-workers behind their back if they call in sick, choose not to do overtime or are determined to be "not good enough".

We appreciate how challenging working in retail convenience can be, but we don't want any of our colleagues to feel overwhelmed so it's important that where you feel confident, you speak to your manager. Team got on well, hours weren't particularly harsh (pay not particularly impressive either)

Overworked due to corporate ruthlessly cutting hours (while hiring more staff?), generally piling on more and more work to the store team without considering time constraints, absolutely no opportunity for advancement while a store manager is already there
