Food is provided on shift, some amazing managers who excel their role as well as team leads/supervisors. Occasionally you can be put on a bar with view of the bowl.

I would say I enjoyed the first few months of this job, as it was just opening I understood there would be teething issues. However, even a year down the line these issues persist. Despite the National Living Wage, this is not a secure workplace, with shift times being altered with short notice or shifts cancelled without any prior warning or email - Sometimes minutes before your shift is even due to start! You can also just get sent home early for "not looking busy enough", so will spend the majority of your time wiping the same surfaces. Managers (not all) can be incredibly dismissive and rude towards those that work under them and definitely seem to look down at entry level staff. Breaks are at the legal minimum of 20 minutes, however there has been times where employees are told they cannot take their breaks despite working atleast 6 hours. Even if you do get a break, 20 minutes is still not long enough given the size of the venue, people loitering in corridors, or queues to get food. Food itself is basic, salted Crisps, a piece of fruit, and a soggy sandwich. Progression is difficult to obtain with the People Team (HR) insisting they will host trainings but never end up doing so as there is some other overlaying issue. I genuinely did take pride working here and enjoyed it, but now it seems too corporate and feel as though Hospitality staff are seen as cattle and dehumanised by the lack of security. I understand it's zero hours... But seriously?
