I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your time at CoStar Group, the research position does require constant communication with commercial real estate professionals, and that job requirement may not be the right fit for everyone. They rely on our researchers being persistent with their communication to brokers as part of the research process. We encourage our researchers to build relationships with their contacts in order to make their job easier, and to ensure we are providing the most accurate data. It is those relationships that keep clients with us five years or more at a 98% renewal rate. The bonus process in the Research organization ensures that Researchers receive a bonus based on their performance for that quarter, unless the employee was recently hired or on a formal corrective action plan. Without knowing the details of your situation, I couldn’t speak to why you didn’t receive a bonus. However, processes are currently in place that make it possible for every active Researcher to receive a quarterly bonus. We will you all the best in your future accomplishments.
