Great benefits and work life balance when I was an hourly employee. Free food and the people you work with are all going through the same craziness so that eases the pain. This company is taking over the world and I would recommend buying the stock to anyone, just don't work here if you have other options.

Like most researchers at CoStar this was my first job out of college. And now that I have moved on and seen what actual corporate America looks like I can tell you that the horror stories about this company are all true. I'll just add a few comments: I received a promotion but no raise in salary. Was switched from hourly to salary and the only way to combat the constant workload is to work weekends. The directors would regularly tell us if we were in over our heads to speak up. I must have spoken up 10 times before I just started looking for another job. The managers have absolutely zero idea of what's going on at all times, which wasn't unbelievable because they receive exactly zero management training. The teams are led by the senior researchers (in Atlanta there are about 5 senior researchers and 80 people hired within the last 6-12 months, from what I've heard the turnover has only increased) and then scolded by the managers who have very little responsibility. I can say this to be true because I worked for at least 15 managers during my time at CoStar and many will even tell you it is easier than portfolio work.
