It's all about numbers and metrics. If you're a research associate for an area that isn't hopping, it's difficult to reach metrics. They encourage you to use weasley ways to find out information about brokered deals. Little appreciation for long hours worked.

We appreciate the feedback, and take information like this into account when we look at how we can evolve and improve the workplace for our employees – and we have actually made changes that are already in place that address your concerns. As the reach of CoStar Group’s Research department has grown and become more in-depth, we’ve also evolved the way we evaluate the success of our researchers. Expectations vary market to market and researcher to researcher, and there are no all-encompassing “metrics” each team or researcher is expected to make. Unless a researcher has agreed to take on additional responsibilities for a special project for which they are paid overtime, all of our researchers work 40-hour weeks with no work completed after hours or on the weekends. We appreciate our researchers for their hard work during those 40 hours, and encourage a healthy work/life balance by leaving work at the office.

I worked for Homes.com - You're doing 3 jobs in one and the pay does not reflect that - it is churn and burn. The average tenure here is 7 months - Management doesn't know what's going on 3/4 of the time. It is all up to the CEO and he's on his private jet more than 3/4 of the time
