Very collegial, kind atmosphere that provides for a lot of independence.

Lots of change given dynamic investment environment.

Colchis, run by father and son duo, Ted and Bob Conrads, is a very opportunistic investment company. They have completely retooled the business several times to take advantage of dislocations they have identified in the markets.. which is admirable in my opinion These guys are incredibly smart and one can learn a lot just by being in the same room as them They were incredibly generous to me. They taught me a lot and when I transitioned out they supported me every step of the way to find my next position

While changing the focus of the firm to take advantage of a market opportunity can be disruptive to employees who prefer more of a steady-eddy environment, if you are able to roll with the punches, it can be exciting and lucrative Probably limited upside given it's a father and son team. Seems unlikely that they would make anyone a significant owner in the business - though that's just a guess
