Software products are considered legacy systems being developed in obsolete language and database i.e. Visual FoxPro. The company has struggled to migrate to new technologies such SQL Databases and .NET. Outdated practices. Closed culture and difficult for newbies to fit in. There is a bias against employing experience professionals. Not open to learning new methods or listening to new ideas. Generally speaking the company doesn't employ professional managers. Poor Quality control.

A friendly atmosphere in a smaller company. You definately will feel more like a person than a number. Friendly management and several company events to keep everyone close
