We're a startup, so not everything is figured out or locked down yet. Processes are still being built, systems are evolving, and things can change. If you need everything to be perfectly structured and predictable, this probably isn't the place for you. Expectations from eng leadership are never clear, however it is always clear that engineering teams are not meeting expectations. There’s conflicting directives to move very fast but also push out high quality code with a low tolerance for few bugs. Engineering leadership micromanages projects and treats any new ideas or thoughts about changing processes as dumb. Poor onboarding process which required me to travel to California for two weeks for some reason, even though no one on my team works in that office.
