They act like you don't have a life outside of work. Long hours with overtime every day. They don't even give you a choice or ask you they just act like you are required to give your life to them. Always a fight to get home. Crew chiefs do whatever they want on the clock. Everybody from management down is two faced. Couldn't trust anybody. Dudes will lie or at the very least bend the truth to benefit them or save them when they screw up even if it means throwing it on someone else. Compensation was not too bad but unfair comparatively (I'll leave it at that).
HR is a complete joke. There were problems with management in the office and hr never followed through with correcting anything. They are all talk and no action.
They talk about safety non stop but the only motive is to keep their safety ratings good. Other than that I have never had the feeling they truly care. Don't buy you boots (not even specialty boots for substations and such). Again they seem to be all talk.
Office guys seem to be rude for the most part, managers don't act like managers especially when it really counts. Place is a joke.
I could go on forever but the bottom line is that I was miserable going to work every day from the time I started there.
