Vantaggi

The culture is unique. The work is hard (at times really hard), but we don't ever take ourselves too seriously. I like the opportunity to celebrate and have fun with my co-workers. I also think that the CEO's open door policy is part of what makes this place so special. I really feel heard and that my opinion is valued. I can also see how my work connects to the mission of the organization. Awesome benefits which I think shows how much the company cares about their employees.

Svantaggi

A lot of work and not enough people, but I think that's indicative of being a start-up. Still some risk since the company is in its early stages.

Vantaggi

It's an amazing company to work for, not only are you working for a company that is actually making a difference, but the "culture" is something I have never experienced before. The company really prides itself on its "culture", and reasonably so. Very casual, very fun and everything still gets done. I learned a lot and am looking forward to see where my new skills will take me.

Svantaggi

I think the laid back culture might affect some people's ability to still maintain professionalism in the workplace. There's a work/fun balance that you need to have to work here, and most employees have that. There are a handful, that seem to act like they're in high school again, and play the politics, passive aggressive and resentment game, instead of being an adult and talking things out.

Thank you for this insightful feedback! The internship program is one we hope to continue providing for the benefit of those who come on to further their experience as well as our internal staff. Additionally, while we value our culture, the overall experience should be one which improves the day-to-day rather than damage it. We'd value the opportunity to gain more specific insights from you regarding your time at the CO-OP this summer; would you be willing to contact us at info@cohealthop.org or 720-627-8928? Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts.
