CAO Akbar Sultan’s HR Department has the highest turnover in the company. I understand it’s lost 11 employees in HR in 3 years from a department with only 10 employees. I know that the culture in Human Resources is much different than the values and mission the organization proclaims. The CEO is aware of the issues in HR, but chooses to ignore them and refuses to talk with Akbar’s team and doesn’t address the issues and his solution is to bury his head in the sand. Members of the senior executive team have voiced the same frustrations but to the deaf ears of the CEO who is the one who can make things right. The CEO would rather support the good ol’ boys club than act on the truth. And therefore HR will continue to be toxic and continue to lose good employees because of the micromanagement and incompetence of the CAO Akbar Sultan and his team. Next time you see someone leave HR there, you’ll know why and it has nothing to do with the 1% annual increase coming in January 2025.
