This was a great place to work. A few years ago, before the overwhelming restructuring of sales, the morale and employee engagement was good. There were employee run holiday events, cook outs, and an overwhelming sense of comradery and ownership. Management really nurtured individuals as individuals and not based on their assignments or role. Now, it seems that Comcast culture is all about the bottom line and reputation. Morale is low and lower in certain departments and the same thing can be said for turnover and open positions. As they say, the show must go on, so when people leave, you can be inundated with a much larger workload. Instead of really caring about employees, management cares more about their outer reputation, so much so that reviews from this website were read out loud in a department meeting. You can be reprimanded and marked for speaking up or suggesting something outside the box. I have seen a lot of talented, thoughtful, smart, and driven people crushed at the wheel in certain departments. If you are even remotely interested in contributing to your new workplace and improving upon it, do not apply here.
