I learned a lot, met a lot of great people who became my closest friends Was given opportunity despite making some mistakes and starting out as a pretty unreliable employee. I had amazing leadership. Commerce, or as it was then known as "BigCommerce", really primed me for the rest of my career. I've moved on to bigger things since with more opportunity but I in learned to move beyond my self-perceived limits, lead with compassion, and give everyone a fair shake especially if I wasn't a personal fan. I'm super grateful to have worked there and left such a different person and leader.

Svantaggi

It didn't feel like they were looking after the little people past a certain letter level toward the end of my tenure. I was over worked and under paid.

-Friendly coworkers -Great partners -Opportunity to try things -Many people genuinely care and are willing to help in when asked -New leadership team has the right idea (though unfortunately came in too late imo) -Great CFO

Svantaggi

-Company trajectory on the decline -Top heavy organization, too many people trying to delegate down to the few people who actually execute -Lack of proper strategy -Most of the mid level managers who were the heartbeat of BigCommerce historically have left and not sure if the company will be able to reinvent itself in time -Conflicting goals of different organization pit teams against each other. Caused too much friction internally. For a company struggling for relevance from external sources, this was a mistake.
