- Good opportunity to get involved in the Colorado nonprofit scene - A lot of opportunities for entry-level staff to take on big projects - There are a handful of really good people who work there who genuinely want to make a positive change - They have a tendency to promote from within - The coworking space they are based in is pretty cool and in a nice location - They honor work life balance pretty well. I never worked overtime or on weekends

- It is impossible to get anything done at CRC without it being approved by at least five additional people. So, it takes forever to get things done. - Americorps members are a huge part of their staff and they are not fairly compensated. The CEO and Directors make six figures while the Americorps members make less than minimum wage. They are bolstering the cycle of poverty by engaging in this. - CEO made several comments toward staff who were people of color that were microaggressions - commenting on hair, tokenizing them. Staff who were people of color were held to harsher standards when it came to the dress code. - During my time there, all the staff who were people of color left. The overall turnover at CRC is unlike any that I've witnessed in my career. - Directors/CEO have no loyalty towards dedicated staff members and will fire someone or demote them at the drop of a hat. - CRC has too many programs that don't do anything. On the outside, it looks like a high-functioning organization with many successful programs, but it is a facade. The only programs that actually create sustainable change are the Colorado Grants Guide, trainings, and RPD. - CEO requested that staff write fake positive glass door reviews to make up for negative reviews
