      Commure has several cons that potential employees should be aware of. The company is too bureaucratic, with six levels of management above regular developers, which can hinder decision-making and innovation. The technical management pyramid is also extremely incompetent, from the CEO to the line manager, and turnover of top technical talent is high. The company has undergone three major layoffs in less than a year, and has hired VPs for every letter of the alphabet, which can suggest a lack of focus and accountability. There have been no pay increases for the last two years, despite inflation. Finally, the company's own product ideas are vague and impractical, and the only corporate training provided is about "woke" topics, which may not provide meaningful value to the employees or the company.

While turnover is never easy, our goal is to treat all employees - current and former - with transparency, honesty, and compassion through these difficult moments.       Our company is honestly a mess and I dont know how much more I can take being yelled at day after day because our product doesnt work. We have so many intelligent people but we are consistently executing at the wrong level. All the positive reviews are actually fake. They tell employees to give good glassdoor reviews dependent on their hiring sprints. Don't believe me? Take a look at when all the positive reviews are posted. There are so many smart and talented people at this company, but dont expect for any of your own strengths to be leveraged. You will not learn anything strategic here. Managers have the same amount of experience an associate does, no learning happens here. Just firefighting. You are expected to work overtime if theres a new project, sprint, escalation or initiative (which newsflash- is every single day). I have seen people who have joined and quit not even 2 weeks later. The only people who stay here long term are bound by visa needs or benefit heavily from the boys club vibe of this company. If youre thinking of working here, dont. They lie about role responsibilities ALL THE TIME and will "restructure" you into a new position with no say whenever they feel like it. Everyone here is trauma bonded over how awful things are and looking to get out. Its not worth it truly.
