Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback and for the contribution you made during your time at Compass Continuing Healthcare.
We’re pleased to hear that you found the role valuable as a starting point post-university and that remote working can provide an ideal setup for those who thrive in that environment. Supporting early-career professionals and providing meaningful responsibility is something we are proud of, and many of our team have progressed significantly from entry-level roles.
That said, we are sorry to read about your experience regarding workload, work-life balance, and management support. Our intention is not for colleagues to feel they must regularly work beyond their hours or sacrifice personal time to keep up. The nature of CHC work can be demanding, but it should always be sustainable. We continually review caseload allocation and time-recording processes to ensure they are proportionate and supportive rather than burdensome.
We are particularly concerned to hear that you felt alone with the challenges the role can bring. No one should feel unsupported. Developing managers who are approachable, patient, and proactive in advocating for their teams is a key focus for us, and feedback like yours highlights how important that is.
We genuinely value reflections such as yours. They help us assess where processes, communication, and leadership development can improve — especially in a remote-first environment where connection requires more intentional effort.
Thank you again for your honesty, and we wish you every success in your continued career.
