Vantaggi
Personally, it is close to home for me and that's the only pro
Svantaggi
Note: As I go on about this I'm noticing all of this seems like a joke. It is not. This all happened / is happening and I need to get it off my chest. Overworked - Calculated how long it should take to do my jobs, and I'm doing a 35 hour per week job for 20 hours per week. I got told to step it up when they made a lot of people redundant and now they're offering jobs but no one will take them because of their terrible reputation. Lazy staff are kept because they are scared of losing more staff. The honest workers are being taken advantage of. Lack of Sympathy - Heard some terrible stories that I'd rather not elaborate on because of their confidentiality, around the lines of compassionate leave and basically being called back into work during it, because of low staff. Then being told to work harder when they are going above and beyond by coming in at such a hard time in the first place. Cold Hearted Management Customer Complaints pinned on lower level staff - Line Manager wasn't allowed to tell the client that we were running low on staff because "it's unprofessional" but it needs to be said! They are ignoring the problem and berating us. The whole atmosphere feels like a sinking ship and I dread going to work there everyday, I don't know what is going to happen next. Disorganised work environment - Always told last minute something needs to be done Very late on the COVID protection measurements - Literally told to hold our breath! Confidentiality issues - Managers gossip to each other. Someone told their manager they had a terrible illness only for another manager (not their business at all, they did not need to know) to tell them "I'm so sorry about your ___" and this has happened to me too, but about something else. I have no doubt it has happened more than twice with really serious issues.
