Vantaggi
I meet some great people who became real friends. Working from home helps for sure. That's all.
Svantaggi
I have worked at Compex for 4yrs. And it progressively gets worse here. The pay is horrible at $14hr, you will never make any real money here. They have given 3 raises so far. 2 were state mandated and the one I got myself was 25 cents. During the pandemic they refused to give us a raise and we we were told we should be lucky we even have jobs. But they are giving incentives for you to work harder and make more money. Would have made more sense to give small raises to us for our constant hard work. The insurance is not great. I dont have medical with Compex, far to expensive. If you like working 54 hrs a week, this is the job for you. There is mandatory overtime all the time. We used to work Mon- Fri and now Saturdays too. You only have 1 true day off, Sunday. The work day is 10hrs long and if you want to leave early from the 10hr shift, yes they make a big deal out of it. The overtime is the only thing that makes your check worth while. Working at home/remote has definitely made this job more bearable, but they ask a lot of work for $14 per hour and they will require more and more from you. Your goals and promises are unattainable but they keep raising the bar when not many are meeting the goal. Yes the office is very cliquey and if your not friends with the top dog (team leads/management) then life will be harder. And if your are disliked for whatever reason, good luck trying to stay here. Sucking up will help you, promise. High turnover, don't get used to anyone. They are micomanaging more than ever. Ridiculously repetitive job. I used to stress so much about this job, I would literally cry when I got home. But I stopped caring a long time ago and now stress free. There is no work/life balance, so don't expect it.
