      The other managers you share an office with quickly become your family. Even though accounting is over worked they are still quick to assist in anyway they can. You do your own inspections of communities and even though it can be stressful on time it’s always nice to get out of the office and see the properties.

      The GM is where 100% of the issues arise from. As a bully, she’s someone that will push and push until she gets her way. Managers and accounts are leaving because of the walking HR nightmare. Unless you are one of her favorites you will have a target on your back and it is only a matter of time until you either chose to leave or are fired. New managers don’t want to come work here because of the reputation this person already has in the industry.

      Since starting my position at CAMCO, I can honestly say I look forward to coming to work every day. The corporate culture is amazing and the Executive Team empowers their employees to succeed. There is much room to advance since the company is growing so quickly under new ownership. I like not being micro-managed and given the option to work a flexible schedule. Continuing education is paid for by my employer and everyone genuinely cares about one another. We have a spirit committee that celebrates birthdays and accomplishments, Kudos recognition and a community outreach committee in addition to employee appreciation outings. It is so much better since the new management has cleaned house by terminating the employment of those whose work ethic was not up to the standards that our clients deserve to have in a management company.

      Having a select few employees who like to stir up trouble and too much time is spent having to put out the fires they cause.
