Big building and lots of space. Break out rooms with pool table . Parking can be pain unless you get there early and grab one of the spaces not allocated. Dress down Friday’s Some decent people and lifelong friendships have been made . Good banter in the office. This business used to be the old Allen and Allen Insurance in Hampton Hill They have simply upped sticks and moved and re-branded . Same people different site . Simple as that .

Where do i start ? Culture It is young but what do you expect when paying a poor basic and doing shifts and weekends ? Senior Leadership Team Apart from constant redundancies and the business selling and renewing less policies each year on year perhaps the CEO could tell us what positives he has made ? It is certainly not making any money or increasing morale. They keep harping on about their new investment but as everyone knows with it going down the automated route then less people will be needed and as a result the business won’t grow . It is a business going backwards , not forwards. The CEO is nowhere near hands on enough. Also people are given fake titles as “Associate Director” or “Operations Director”on their email when for reasons known in the business they cannot be Directors. A simple check on companies house has proved that. Embarrassing really and just shows the lack of credibility these people have. These people as well were involved in making key HR decisions especially when staff were arm - wrestled in to signing furlough forms without a single HR qualification to their names. Words fail me !!! What would the FCA have said about that if they would have investigated and known ? Careers Opportunities Do not be told by the recruitment guy when he calls and sells you the dream about the role about the great career progression here etc. The company made a huge amount of redundancies in 2020 and a second batch in 2021 and are not growing, if anything the complete opposite. Career progression here is ZERO ! It is worth also pointing out that the company also furloughed a huge amount of staff and used the government scheme for ages then put them up for redundancy (mostly staff all over 30 and with loads of experience) I genuinely feel sorry for any sales staff that stay there as they go nowhere . They made a team leader redundant in their big cull in 2020 . Then made another 3 redundant in 2021. Naturally this means the position can never be replaced. Where does this leave the 50 + sale staff? It really is a bums on seats culture ,how can this be a company progressing???? The employer has a HUGE turnover and has a revolving door at the front of the building in Sunbury for a reason. It is a long standing joke. One in, one out. One in, one Out ..................... Business Model This is not a sales role , at all !! It is a combination of fraud investigation , admin , underwriting and up-selling . Other brokers do not do this . It is a not a customer friendly process, if a customer rings in they have to refer the risk to an underwriter and you cannot sell it there and then. How is this treating a customer fairly calling them back in an hour ? HR Huge turnover , lacking in industry knowledge and full of bluffers that have blagged a job there . Certainly not competent to do the role and hardly covered themselves in glory during COVID . Covid The company broke covid rules in early 2021 , allowing an employee with covid symptoms to work in Sunbury untested and not carrying out any tests . This resulted In the office being shut for 3 days to have a deep clean and a number of employees being not able to carry out their jobs. Personal Development The company does not pay for any CII exams at all and seem to think bonus is an incentive to stay? Rewards and recognition No Christmas party since December 2016 and no employee of the year or quarter since 2017 . Staff are not recognised or incentivised for performance at all . Benefits Twenty days holiday as a starter and no healthcare. Oh and no sick pay too .Very poor. Now after reading this make your own assumptions.........................
