- it is hard to move to the next career path within the organization if you are a quiet person regardless you are hardworking and obtained the employee of the year within the dept. - if you are not able to impress the team lead or the management, you have 99% possibility not getting an internal transfer to join a second or 3rd level support line within the organization regardless how long you have work for the company. - some of the 3rd line support management are not willing to give the job opportunity to the senior service desk to advance their technical level. most of the senior service desks have to leave the company and get the advance technical opportunity elsewhere.
