Vantaggi

- decent pay - office amenities are nice - WFH setup

Svantaggi

- i am currently in the second major stage of training, and am forced to be in office the entire time. the process by which we are doing this training is through an entirely virtual video call. why am i being forced to commute 45 minutes to the office to join a video call when i have a WFH setup i can utilize just as effectively? do you know how many times a month i have to get gas? it’s a waste of my money, my gas, and my time. i am a new employee, but i see from these reviews that they have been slowly walking back their remote work in favor of more in office time. what benefit does this provide except for an opportunity for our supervisors to micromanage every little thing? for a company that strives to be eco-friendly, having your call center agents work entirely remotely seems like a slam dunk. but whatever. - i really wish desks didn’t have to be “reserved”, and that each employee had permanent desks. it just makes the office area feel sterile and unfriendly. it’d be nice to have a permanent desks to personalize and decorate. of course, this wouldn’t be an issue if we could work fully remotely! - sometimes i feel like 30 minutes for lunch isn’t enough. i also don’t love that our breaks are already predetermined before our shifts start and we can’t take them whenever. i can sort of understand why, but that doesn’t mean i have to like it. - training feels quite disorganized - i believe this is their first time with this training structure, but i can’t say it’s been a major success so far.

Vantaggi

It is easy work, good first job.

Svantaggi

Almost too many to count. The RTO policy could not have been handled worse, and upper management regularly says things that feel completely disconnected from reality. In a town hall, the COO claimed that RTO had a “net zero” impact on the company’s carbon footprint, which honestly felt insulting to employees’ intelligence. There’s also increasing discussion around AI, and it seems likely the company will approach it the same way they approached offshoring — shifting large amounts of work to lower-cost solutions regardless of quality or long-term impact. Meanwhile, my group has lost 7 team members since 2022 and only added 2 replacements. The workload has continuously increased, and leadership does not seem to care about the effect this has on employees.
