Vantaggi
It's easy money once you get into the swing of things. Dealing with angry callers can be rough, but most of them aren't that bad. It feels really really good to help people, and you get to meet some awesome people. Training was okay, but be prepared to do some of your own research on your own time. It looks good on your resume. Decent worklife balance. Benefits aren't bad.
Svantaggi
BED BUGS. There were bedbugs at the Raleigh location when I worked there (early 2018-mid 2018), and I wouldn't be surprised if they are still there. BE WARNED. Rules, rules, rules. So many rules to follow. No phones. No paper or pens. No hats. No food. Wanna take a bathroom break? Gotta put yourself into break-aux and use up your 15-30 mins a day. No decorations on your desk. No using the notepad on the computer to take notes as you listen to calls. Everything is monitored. No solitaire. Cameras everywhere. It's very "big brother" in there. You're (quite literally) tethered to a desk and expected to sit there for hours without moving. There's no windows, only artificial lighting. It's suffocating and gets depressing pretty quick. If you're the kind of person that doesn't like the idea of a desk-job, stay away. On top of that, they will change your schedule without warning any time they want. Just got comfy with your schedule? Too bad, it's different now. Oh, you had your schedule changed two weeks ago? Here's another one. Get used to it. But not for long because we'll probably change it again in another month. That happened a lot. Poor communication with upper-management.
