Risposta di Confetti
1yWhile we are disheartened to read your review and your experience we thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Leaning into our value of transparency we would not pay to have negative reviews removed but rather believe in looking to learn from all input that is shared both, positive and negative.
Working on company efficiency can often feel lacking in humanity, but is a necessity for any business wishing to grow. As a VC backed company and not a non for profit, we do need to be mindful of delivering certain promises to our investors and meeting aggressive goals. We will continue to structure and modify the teams as the company grows in order to be able to scale, meet new goals and survive. We reflect transparency in those goals by sharing our progress quarterly in the Company Updates via our Blogins alongside our Town Halls. It’s also reflected on our internal dashboard (Retool) which is visible to every person in the organization at all times.
Our CEO and CTO lead in tandem with oversight from the Board and many qualified and more experienced advisors. In addition feedback is consistently sought out from all team members that might be involved in the project or initiative regardless of title. There truly is not a decision that is made solely based on one person’s opinion or view alone.
We are glad to hear that you shared some incredible connections with your colleagues as our main goal for the internal team has always been to foster a collaborative, safe, and authentic work environment.
We want to reiterate that we’re deeply saddened by the decisions that had to be made to let go of a handful of team members, and know that this is not easy or simple on the personal lives of those that are affected. Business and work can sometimes feel so insensitive, but the reality is that this decision was a necessary one in order to ensure the long term survival of Confetti.
We wish you the best of luck in finding a new role and team.
