Product is not at all easy to sell unless you have the right customers. Customers can choose to simply stop using Confluent. Technology is not critical to their business and Open source is very good too. Lots of competition with more affordable prices. Management has no vision or consistency of strategies. Hire and fire policy. 100% focus on sell sell sell. No patience for customer readiness. They are absolutely tight-fisted about any additional costs. Dont expect any travel / hotel stays / taxi bills getting approved. They want sales without any costs. :-)
