Vantaggi

This was an ok place to get your hands on tech. They also paid for all of my certs

Svantaggi

All Network Engineers regardless of level were expected to have the same knowledge. Management belittled you if you felt as if your knowledge wasn’t sufficient for a project. Management focused more on monthly labor numbers instead of how you contributed to a project/sale. Work life balance was really bad. One time I had to spend a month out of state for a project in a town where we had an office that could’ve spared someone else to work on that project instead of me. My manager would often call me randomly during off hours. Management did not allow for flexing out your hours if you were salaried, often leading to 50-60 hour weeks. HR/Accounting (department ran by the same person) would watch the out of office tracker to see if you were late. Pay was really bad. As a network engineer 1, I made $40k starting. I got a raise to $45000 only after getting my CCNA.
