Vantaggi

Nice people, hybrid work, flexible to an extent, lots of socials and opportunities to make friends. This role was also great exposure to agency work for me. As a junior initially coming into the role, I found it helpful for learning how to manage multiple accounts.

Svantaggi

Unfortunately there wasn’t really much room to breathe a lot of the time, and I felt myself enjoying my work less and less due to very tight demands and deadlines. You also can’t make independent decisions a lot of the time, as everything is so heavily monitored and watched. I would use the word chaotic to summarise my experience at c3, and left feeling quite exhausted. Sadly I don’t think I would recommend, unless like others have said you genuinely just want to find out whether agency work is suited for you or not and get some experience. As a junior, I found the role slightly too stressful for the compensation. The amount of leavers we had also concerned me.

Vantaggi

Great health insurance benefits, friendly staff, and useful remote working arrangements.

Svantaggi

The workload is too much to bear, even for agency life. All the amazing people I met at the start of my tenure have left due to burnout or being held back by managers who don't understand the needs of others who don't work the same way they do. There's a constant push from management to use AI because it's the only way to manage the workload they've put on everyone. There are also very few training/progression opportunities, and I never felt like I could ask my managers for help or advice without being judged or marked down for it.

Vantaggi

Only really have to go into the office once a month. You get 5 extra days of holiday as ‘wellbeing’ allowance. Good health care.

Svantaggi

Where do I begin… It used to be a decent place to work, but over the past year or two it’s turned into a very hostile and toxic workplace, full of micromanagement, unrealistic expectations, and a company that’s losing sight on ethics and creative thinking. There’s also a massive drinking culture. Most people churn out ai slop (a lot of the managers, which is BAFFLING) which makes the workload for others who aren’t using it. Creative and critical thinking has gone. Training sessions are reruns and no new ways of thinking. Some recently promoted team members have a very toxic approach to ‘collaborating’ with other members of the team. Prepare to be micromanaged and be expected to spend all day everyday each month on accounts that should be two day retainers - the result? The rest of your work slips with it to. Unfortunately, this company fits the stereotype of having cliques, which makes it very hard to speak up or feel like you’ll find a place to fit in. 1-2-1s are very few and far between with your manager. They’re extremely overworked and don’t have time to lend support that’s really needed. We had a new head of people join the company a year ago, but we really haven’t had much support or change from them. The fun and friendly culture is just completely gone.
