Excellent physicians who care about quality and fiscal responsibility. They recently cleaned house on ineffective leaders with the goal of achieving a triple aim goals established by IHI. While a few MBAs and physicians were part of the cuts (prior comments on this site perhaps reflect this?) the overall group is committed to a lean organizational design that delivers superb patient care, provides equitable and competitive salaries for staff and physicians and supports communication between the consumer and the radiologists.

The new organizational strategy required decisions that supported the growth and quality of this company. Additionally, this is a company that relies upon a large group of highly-trained (specialized) physicians who expect high performance results from the executive leaders. The physicians deliver high quality and they essentially expect the same from leadership. A tension will develop if this balance gets disturbed. Translate: executive-level staff should have senior to mastery-level skills in regards to leadership, communication and development.
