2yOur focus on sales and performance is aimed at ensuring that everyone is encouraged to perform at their best. We do not micromanage unless improvement is needed, and our meetings are intended to foster a culture of collaboration, radical candor and feedback. Unfortunately, even with coaching and hands-on training not all employees are able to meet our performance expectations and sometimes we are forced to make the difficult decision of allowing them to move on. Although a difficult decision to make, this is a necessary practice to continue to ensure a high-performance team and is a common practice for many companies.
This year we have hired at a robust pace and will continue to do so in areas of need. We encourage a high-performance culture within our team through a variety of means. We pay almost 10x more in sales commissions than others in our industry and many of our Sales team members are making significantly more here than anywhere else. Every employee is also a shareholder so that they can all share in our success. Despite the economic uncertainty that next year holds, we have continued to support our team’s growth and development through hands-on and out of office training. We provide $1,500 annually to each employee to be used towards their own pursuits of L&D. This year we’ve promoted 10% of our team internally, and last year we promoted over 30%. We also offer a flexible Work From Home Policy, and Open Time Off to support the Work-Life balance of our talented team members.
We had purchased the arcade over a year ago, and due to supply chain issues, it was only recently able to be delivered. Our employees have loved being able to take a break and recharge with it.
