Top management currently lacks a clear vision and strategic plan, which can be quite challenging. Similar to many startups in Egypt, there is an absence of defined career pathways. Additionally, the HR team appears to be unresponsive to employee needs, often lacking actionable solutions or following directives from upper management without advocacy for staff development. There are persistent delays in salary payments of up to a month or a few days, which can be frustrating. Due to inflation and currency devaluation, employees may find their earnings diminished, and any potential compensation (if offered) may not adequately compensate for these losses. Please note that there is no provision for an annual increase. It will be presented as a raise or in another form (only if you asked for it). Also, there’s a clear absence of appreciation or gratitude in any form.
