I'm not sure what was going on back when the 2015 Glassdoor comment was written by a former employee, but today CITC is an amazing company. Just a few highlights include: Mission driven organization with major focus on people (participants and employees) Visionary, transparent, truly caring C-suite leadership who walk the talk & are far from pretentious or ego-driven. Also amazing is that they're all women AND three are Alaska Native. Great example of women in leadership. Amazing benefits and wellness activities for staff (incl. Body Renew memberships!) Working toward creating more leadership development & promotional opps for staff at all levels of the company Have a lot of fun staff events (for ex. holiday party @ Bear Tooth) Offer flexible schedules (4-10's, telecommuting)

Communication can be silo'd or not shared as well throughout the entire company (as appropriate). Seems CITC needs to get more organized aground this. Middle managers can get overwhelmed with daily operations which may be part of this issue. The company is experiencing great growth due to acquisition of subsidiaries and major funding grants. Because of this, some employees may feel that departments are understaffed or over-taxed. I think efforts to get re-organized around this growth issue are in the works.
